I have been writing and typing my whole life.

1000s of words left to turned into a yellow pile of pages squeezed into random box, notepads and sketchpads galore.

I always knew I would want to create a THE website to store my content.

But I was lucky enough to not have to do much advertising, as word of mouth and being the first result that appeared on google for affordable web development companies did it for more than a decade. Work itself was in the way of creating this website.

Now, after COVID, Brexit and the aftermath of 14 years of mishandling the country that has become my home, owning the place and authoring the format in which you communicate with your audience, its key to survive this dystopian era.

So instead of starting with the packages and services on offer, I wanted to put my money where my mouth is, and build a place that could do justice to the last 15 years of learning while becomes the starting point of something greater.

An example of how my clients can have truly bespoke websites for affordable prices, without compromising neither the format, nor the content. The vision of a workflow that respects their time and feeds on their talents.

Give them the tools, the expertise and the foundation to dream of the perfect way of speaking in their own voice.

I will be posting more over the coming weeks, as I enable the new set of interactive elements and accessibility enhancements on this site in order to bring them to a production ready state.

I also plan to let you in on how you can do exactly this, for yourself. If you really need to know more, feel free to contact me to ask.

A perfect starting point for those that lack the funding but not the ambition. Because you shouldn’t have to invest on expensive tools until you are sure they will bring tangible profit.

And if you are willing to involve yourself in the process, for a lot less than what you think.

Creating things is an iterative process, and rounds only become shorter once you feed on the momentum. But it can be frustrating if the results don’t materialise.

Often times trend-chasing and perfectionism will strike the moment you see a finish line or you dare yo compare yourself to others with far more budgets and exposure.

For some, it’s simply the result of agreeing to time-sinking workflows that you will sacrifice when they demand you adapt to them, but not viceversa.

That’s why I am building this website with a simple rule: Use the exact same tools my clients can have, and make it my responsibility to demonstrate an easier way to do what they do, so they can do it better.

Until the next time,

Ruben
