Welcome
My name is Ruben Madila!
I am a Senior Web Developer with more than 20 years of experience working in marketing, designing and creating art.
I’m fluent in English, Spanish, Javascript, CSS and HTML. I can help you translate internet into a world of opportunities.
My skills at project managing, drawing, audio and video editing, writing and recording all serve the same purpose, to help you find the right way to showcase what you do, and do it accessibly, smoothly and online.
I don’t necessarily have to do it all, I am comfortable being part of a team and use those skills to understand the ins and outs of every task, so I can position myself in an always proactive supporting, leading or producing role.
We can build digital universes
But I thrive focusing on the small details that help others tap into the internet and seeing how it can help us grow closer, not further away.
Building tools to save time, reach further, connect deeper…
What we want is to create universal communities.
Create systems, platforms, sites and tools for individuals, businesses and corporations to communicate effectively and universally using the latest technologies.
What you see here is a custom WordPress theme with my own bespoke plugins for dark mode, animations, scroll parallax, carousel and other tweaks to make it exactly what I want it. No compromises.
What do I do?
By creating reusable and sustainable up-to-date code that connects with existing tried and tested systems, I ensure my clients (or me, when that speeds things up) don't need to change a single line of code to add, edit or manage their content, interact with their audience, and make design choices with a simple interface that can evolve and stay compatible as technology changes.
What is the process?
I simply start by the end goal, no shortcuts, no rush. Then, I find the best solution, digitally, to get there. I help others invest in using computers, big and small, to simplify things, never to replace the true and tested human authenticity. Because that’s where the real values lies.

The entropy of human evolution
We have achieved the point of no return. It was predicted that it would arrive when Artificial Super Intelligence was achieved, but we managed to get there even before that. Or maybe not. We didn't contemplate that sections of humanity would be the first ones to…

Things to consider when you start a web project
If you want to create or start a website, it all starts with a brief. It does not matter that initially no one else will work with you. It is useful for you, but specially, for everyone else that unfortunately can not read your mind and…

Why a good company should provide a good level of free consultancy before quoting
Making a choice is daunting. Making a thousand when you thought you were making a few, will leave you exhausted half-way into realising you are committed to making them and more likely to give up trying to make the right ones. You wouldn’t get on a…

Re:medio
Prólogo en edición del manuscrito que compondrá la trilogía Re:curso. Un ermitaño deja su último mensaje, antes de activar el último paso en un plan que tardará tres mil años en ver los frutos de su labor.
The way in which we consume information matters.
As much as the information itself.
If you want help in finding new ways to work, create and let others experience what you do, don't hesitate.
