Brand identity

Website design

Nicole Mendelsohn approached me to create a vibrant site to be a catalogue for the incredible illustrations created by her roaster of talented artists. With the wide range of styles and colours that the portfolio would contain, a classic logo that could seamlessly be placed next to all of them was immediately mandatory.

It was also important that the brand identity could be broken down into cohesive parts.

The main wordmark, containing both the full brand name and more importantly, what they do.

An emblem.

I was inspired by Nicole and the artists she represents. The old fashioned iconography of a rubber stamp, with its Cinema Noir and Art Deco influences, to convey the seal of quality she provides.

And finally, A monogram, to allow for a petite icon size logo, a statement of style that could stand on its own.
